Throughout the months of May and June the members of the Pioneer Fire Company performed various ladder trainings with the Independent Fire Company. These trainings began with the basics of ground ladder deployment, which includes carrying, positioning, raising, and climbing ground ladders. These trainings continued into the tactics of ladder company firefighting, search & rescue, vent-enter-isolate-search (VEIS). Members will continue training ladder company training through the early summer months before the department transitions to training on engine company functions.

Our members complete weekly in-house training throughout the course of the year in addition to attending county and state level certificate training.
