Last night members of the Jenkintown Fire Department participated in a live burn drill at the Cheltenham Fire Training Tower. Firefighter and ground support crews were given different scenarios to simulate an actual fire event. Both the Truck and Engine companies coordinated their efforts to compete each task including Fire Suppression, Search and Rescue, Ladder Placement, and Communication. These training sessions are vital to ensure we can serve the community to the best of our ability.
