Recently, three members of the Pioneer Fire Company attended Fire Instructor training from the Bucks County Community College Public Safety Training Center. This training will culminate with their Proboard written exam in March. This gives more structure for these firefighters to provide in-house fire instruction and also serves as a prerequisite to attend fire officer training programs. Those who participated in this course and their lecture/demonstration topic: Firefighter Josh Everetts: Primary Search Firefighter Sam Ford: Attack Line Advancement Captain Mike Furlong: Nozzles & Stream Application
Special thanks to Firefighter Liam Casey and Fire Support/Driver-In-Training Nelson Gomez for assisting with the demonstration portion of the class.
