Thursday, December 7 marked the graduation day for three Pioneer Fire Company members as they completed their basic firefighter certification course through the Bucks County Community College Public Safety Training Center. This course, Firefighter I, which began in August encompasses over 200 hours of training on a multitude of topics. It carries with it Pro Board national certification recognized by the NFPA. As a part of the course the members also receive training and certification in First Aid CPR & AED, National Incident Management System, and Hazardous Materials.
